5/14/2012 0 Comments Well Done Brother BillWe are reliably informed that today marks Br Bill Firman's 50 years as a De La Salle Brother. A remarkable living statement of faith and service.
Those who know Br Bill will know that he will not be dwelling too much on the past but be looking to the future and asking himself who he can help next.

Thanks for all your prayers and support for old boy Andrew Coulton. Andrew is still in a very serious condition in Middlemore Hospital but is stable and fighting hard.
Andrew's injuries came about from him being pinned under his forklift while working at Mainfreight in Auckland. He is fortunate to have the support of family and close friends but we ask that you continue to think of him in your prayers. 5/10/2012 0 Comments Prayers PleaseWe received news this morning that old boy (2000s) Andrew Coulton was very seriously injured in a work place accident in Auckland yesterday. Andrew is in a critical condition in hospital and we ask that friends and old boys keep him in their thoughts and prayers.
5/9/2012 0 Comments Our Lenten AppealThanks to Peter Costello for the following report on this year's Lenten Appeal.
The annual Caritas appeal was once again a great success with $4600 being raised over the 6 1/2 weeks of Lent. The Lasallian Youth Leaders got right in behind the campaign and by exhortation and example were a driving force in reaching such a large total. There were dynamic and very generous contributions from some students, none more so than Kerrin Epplett of Benildus 1 (photo included in earlier post). He donated over $300 himself from his own money. With examples like this we can see the Lasallian spirit of focusing on the needs of all peoples in much worse circumstances than our own is alive and well. 5/7/2012 0 Comments What's Happening!?We have been a little slack this year by not up dating our most recent college newsletter on the News and Happenings page. We have addressed this oversight and promise we will keep up with the play for the rest of the year.
The college newsletter is a great source of information about what is happening currently, so you can hear more about groups such as our young leaders pictured above. It is also a good way of recognising those businesses who continue to support us so well. 5/4/2012 0 Comments Notice Board We had a ring from Peter Walker asking if we could post the following notice as we know a lot of old boys have been club members. We are happy to do so and would be happy to publish other notices that might relate to our old boys - just let us know.

The team has begun the year very well and are hoping to repeat the dose a couple more times before the end of the year. 5/1/2012 0 Comments Kerrin ContributesKerrin Epplett is pictured shaking hands with some old fella as he is being presented with the Vertical Form Shield on behalf of his vertical form Benildus 1. They raised the largest sum of any form in the Charitas Lenten Appeal.
