We have lost a few tree branches and there are a number of fixtures, such as the cricket wicket covers, that are in different places than they would normally be, but in general we got off quite lightly. One casualty of the day was the visit from De La Salle in Auckland. We had to postpone their trip down as we were not sure if the school would be open when, and if, they got here. There was also concern over getting billets to peoples homes safely. We will post a new date for the exchange when it is confirmed. With the Gala Day on the 31st of this month we would appreciated the odd prayer for some settled weather.
