Dylan Finnigan (Year 13) is competing at the World Triathlon Championships in London this week:

Dylan competed in the Aquathlon world championships in the 16 - 19 Mens category today. This involves a 2.5 km run, 1 km swim and then another 2.5 km run.

Dylan placed 11th in the race out of 24 in his age category. His time was 33 min 32 sec 

The winner was from Canada with a time of 29.58. Dylan was the first kiwi home in the race however…

His next race is the Sprint Triathlon (800 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run) and he will be racing at 7 pm Friday night
