Another Dylan Remembered

The trophy pictured opposite is named in remembrance of past student Dylan Walsh who was taken from us far too early.

The trophy is to be played for between FDMC and St Pats Town Under 15 rugby teams. This is very appropriate as Dylan was a talented player who stood out at the U15 level before he became ill.

The disappointing thing is that we were not able to win the trophy at the first attempt, St Pats proving to big and strong on the day. While they have taken the trophy with them for now we will be heading to Wellington next year to bring Dylan home.

On the subject of annual clashes, next Wednesday is the big NPBHS v FDMC exchange which takes place this year at FDMC. A range of rugby and football games will be played at 1 pm with the big 1st XV clash kicking off at 2.20. We look forward to seeing a good number of old boys back on site.
