3/5/2019 0 Comments Old Boy ApplesNot only is Paddy Gower the TV 3 National Correspondent he is also our Man in the Field when it comes to catching up with Old Boys. Paddy's recent reporting on the Nelson fires saw him interview Old Boy Bill Lynch with the following results.
" Bill was a Boarder at FDMC from 1962 to 65 and is now based back in Nelson where he is breeding one of the World's best apples. He breeds a hot pink "Berica" and red-pinl "Mondaju" which are expected to be game changers in China and the global market. Bill has been at risk of losing his crop to the fires and would be grateful for peoples thoughts and prayers. He is coming to the 60th Celebration at Queen's Birthday and looking forward to catching up with come old school mates." 3/4/2019 0 Comments Leading By ExamplePart of the Lasallian way is to teach by example and we are very proud and impressed by the example set last weekend by our Head of Social Sciences Mr Mark Wales. Not only did he complete the Taupo Ironman in a time of 10 hours 23 minutes but he looked pretty good at the end of it all. Even more impressive was that he was at work Monday morning showing very few obvious scars. |
