8/28/2015 0 Comments Head Boy 1968We have had little response to information about our Head Boy posting from 1963 so we have moved forward a few years. The Head Boy in 1968 was Frank Roebuck (pictured above). Who can tell us bit about what Frank got up to on leaving scholl and maybe what he is up to now.
8/25/2015 0 Comments Where are our leaders now? This is the first of an irregular series where we look back at some of our past leaders and ask where are they now. It is appropriate that we should start with the 1963 Head Boy Dennis Fitzgerald. If you can fill in some of story of Dennis then please leave a comment.

Dylan has had to battle back from injury and raise money so that he can make it to the World Triathlon Champs in Chicago next month. In a tough sport it is as much about determination as ability and we know Dylan has plenty of both.

We know how diverse our old boys range of jobs is so it was good to see the next group start on the road to full employment. We also noted a number of old boys who where there doing the presenting - circle of life and all that.
8/12/2015 0 Comments Stories In The PressThere were several stories in today's Daily News with an FDMC flavour. Well done to Maxim Van Lierde in his placing finish in the Mongolian Endurance Horse race (story here) and it was great to read that current student Zac Reid has continued to break swimming records(story here) as he works his way through the grades.
We also note the sad loss of Melva Yarrow at the age of 90. Melva and her late husband Noel were generous supporters of the college over the yearsand we ask that you keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers. 8/12/2015 1 Comment Happy Birthday Br. DecThat great poster of information, Facebook, has alerted us to the fact that today is Br Declan's birthday. Br Dec is one of those brothers who has had a long history at the College having done a number of tours of duty from the 60's to the 2000's. His positive attitude and care for those around him has been one of the many elements that have helped to shape our College spirit. Have a great day Brother - 82 years young!
