3/4/2015 0 Comments A Mind GameA great 140 run win to our 1st XI cricket team over NPBHS in yesterday's Gillette Cup knock out match. The game highlights the changing nature of many of our cross town clashes, no matter what the sporting code. The result is rarely determined by form , or who is strongest on paper, but rather who turns up mentally on the day. Yesterday we were mentally stronger, but it will still be game on the next time the two schools meet on a sporting field.

3/3/2015 3 Comments A Life Well LivedWe are always amazed at how so many of our old boys go on to make great contributions to their communities. Paul McEvedy was an old boy of FDMC who sadly passed away this month. The following is an obituary sent to us by Bill Kilkolly. We are sure you will agree it encapsulates the life of a good kiwi bloke and some one we can be proud of. Paul Gregory McEvedy. 3/2/2015 0 Comments Half Way TherePictured above is our Year 9 and 10 cricket team who were victorious over their NPBHS counterparts last week. It was a close thing but the boys showed a lot of character to hold their nerve and come out on top. Tomorrow sees the annual Gillette Cup match between both 1st XI sides and we hope our guys can continue the winning trend. The game is played at FDMC this year so get along and show some support if you have the chance.
