9/9/2013 1 Comment The Brothers YoungWe found this photos in the archives recently and felt the need to share. We are not sure where it was taken but suspect Mangere some time in the late 1980's. Pictured are many of the Brothers who had a significant impact on FDMc over a 40 year period. Can you name them all?

9/6/2013 0 Comments A Spot Of FootballA great effort this week by our 1st XI Football team who today played off for 12th or 13th in New Zealand at the National Secondary Schools Tournament. The game has come a long way in recent years at the College but that doesn't lessen the enthusiasm that older students such as those pictured above, had for "kicking a ball around". The 1980 side had it's fair share of characters and high performers.

9/4/2013 0 Comments Politics At All LevelsThree politicians pictured at college in 1990. All experts in their own field. One went on to run a country, one went on to run a city and one was already well in control of his school.
9/3/2013 0 Comments Teaching The FutureOn of the things we are proud of at FDMC is the number of quality teachers who come from our student ranks. Pictured above is a young Michael Dowd, himself a product of a teaching family, who has go on to become the Principal at St Joseph's Primary in New Plymouth . Mike is now moulding students to send on to FDMC and perpetuate the cycle.
Our theme this week will be old photos, so keep watching just in case you might feature. |
