11/11/2014 1 Comment A Big LiftWork on the new science labs is going ahead in "lifts" and bounds. This early morning stretch saw the steel trusses being lifted into place so that the roof can go on, something of a must in the current weather.
11/10/2014 0 Comments A Week Of Saying GoodbyeLast week saw the end of a school era for this year's Year 13 class, seen graduating above. There were a number of events and quite a few speeches, all of the expectedly high standard. This week it is down to business with the start of the NZQA exams - good luck to all those sitting.
It was great to have De La Salle representation at the Senior Prizegiving with Br Pat Lynch, Br Jack Iremonger and Br Michael Carroll who were put to good use presenting prizes. 11/7/2014 0 Comments The Kibby CupOne of the most prestigious awards at our senior prizegiving is the Wayne Kibby Cup. It is voted on by all Y13 students and presented to the fellow student they see as best modelling " a good College man". This year's winner was Mitchell Thomson, and a well deserved win it was.
11/6/2014 0 Comments Changing of the GuardThe Senior Prizegiving has been and gone and the leaders for 2015 have been announced. Pictured above are this years Year 13 students issuing the challenge to the next generation.
